Last month was a wild one! I finished my renter-friendly-ish bathroom and made progress on the kitchen makeover… But perhaps the biggest shock of all was being featured on NPR's Weekend Edition. For four minutes, I went on and on with Ayesha Rascoe about the joys of decorating a rental and how to get your landlord on board. The experience was thrilling. Like, an actual mind-fuck. I'm still in disbelief.

The best part of the day by far was when the producer told me, "I have a beautiful voice," in a British accent, no less. I was on the phone like, "AHHHH 🤪."
